Here at NKPR we’re firm believers that it’s always better to give than to receive–so we can’t think of a better gift than a charitable one. Here are our favourite holiday gifts that give back!

Camp Oochigeas, a camp for children with cancer, offers year-round programs for children affected by childhood cancer at the Ooch Downtown facility in Toronto, SickKids Hospital and the campsite in Muskoka. A donation of $125 will send a child with cancer to camp for half a day and $250 will cover a full day.

10. A Claymation Christmas Celebration

It’s so clever, funny and well produced. It brings back fond memories of smiling while watching it on TV during the holidays. Plus, who can resist special guests, The California Raisins!


9. Charlie Brown Christmas

A Classic! It reminds everyone what it’s like to be a kid again and the true meaning of the holidays!

 

8. The Original Grinch Who Stole Christmas

Who doesn’t love a movie with a bad-guy-gone-good happy ending?

7. Polar Express

This movie is every kids dream come true and shows us all the magic of the holiday season!

6. Prancer

Watched this growing up it always made you believe in Christmas magic. Now it has become a family tradition to watch it together during the holidays.

 

5. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

Hilarity at it’s finest!! The script in this movie has so many hidden gems, every year you find something new!


4. Home Alone

Its a Christmas classic and one of the best movies of all times.  No one is going to wreck this little boy’s Christmas!

3. Elf

Nothing says holiday cheer like a big silly man in pointy shoes and tights!

2. The Holiday

It’s Jude Law at his best and the perfect Christmas romance!

1. Love Actually

The only film to truly master the intertwining story format! Love Actually is everything you want from a film, heartfelt, heartbreaking and will make you feel butterflies about the Holiday season. A must-watch during the season!

NKPR’s Sweet Holidays

NKPR shares a sweet holiday celebration!

This past Monday, December 10, our office kicked off the holiday season in style with a party at the Soho House. Everyone was merry and full of cheer and there was no better way to spend the evening than with the NKPR team.

Soiree highlights:

Delicious finger fare from the Soho House, including: crab cakes, frites, petite cheese and tomato sandwiches, sliders, burrata and squash crostinis, mini mac and cheeses and s’more brownies for dessert!

Jeanette played NKPR’s resident Elf and doled out our Secret Santa gifts! Bunmi received an awesome Kanye West vinyl from Sam, Lara gifted Carly with a fabulous blow out and Andre gave Jeanette the essentials for her upcoming Mexico trip.

To make sure she didn’t miss all the party fun, Kaley joined us via Face Time all the way from sunny Florida!
